  • 2 tbsp baking powder

Guyanese style pancakes, you can’t get this kind of fluffiness from a box mix! Although dosas are typically flat and thin, I tweaked the receipe for fluffy and soft goodness. Great for breakfast or a late dinner.

    1. Wisk lemon juice and milk in a bowl, set aside. The lemon will “spoil the milk” and milk curdles will form in about 15 minutes
    2. Mix the dry ingredients together in one bowl
    3. Whisk the egg and melted butter in another bowl
    4. Add the egg mixture to the milk and mix together
    5. Don’t over mix the batter
    6. On a hot tawa pour batter and cook until first side is golden brown
    7. Flip and cook the other side. Only flip and cook once per side to ensure you will have fluffy pancakes
    8. Enjoy with fruits or honey
